Overlook Records welcomes music submissions from independent artists. By submitting music or materials through the Overlook Records website, you agree to the following terms.

Ownership of Submitted Material
By submitting music or other materials through this website, you confirm that:
• You own or control all rights necessary to submit the material
• The material does not infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, or other rights of any third party
• You have the authority to grant permission for Overlook Records to review the submission
Overlook Records does not assume responsibility for verifying ownership of submitted material.
No Obligation or Agreement
Submission of music or materials does not create any obligation for Overlook Records to:
• Enter into a business relationship
• Provide feedback
• Promote, distribute, or release the submitted material
• Offer a recording, management, or publishing agreement
Any future collaboration with Overlook Records will require a separate written agreement.
Similar Content
You understand that Overlook Records may already be working with artists, music, or creative material that may be similar to the material you submit.
By submitting your work, you acknowledge that similarities between your submission and other works may occur and you agree that such similarities do not constitute a claim against Overlook Records.
Communication
Overlook Records reviews submissions selectively. Due to the volume of submissions received, we may not be able to respond to every submission.
If your project aligns with what we are building, a member of the Overlook Records team may contact you.
Changes to These Terms
Overlook Records may update these Terms of Submission from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
